The VINTAGE CAR RALLY ASSOCIATION (VCRA) is a unique forum for
antique, vintage and classic car enthusiasts to participate in an automotive
competition based on precision driving and navigational skills in a timed, controlled-
speed, distance, endurance rally. This is perhaps the most challenging type motor
sports event still available to the average vintage / classic / antique car enthusiast.
Preparation, Practice and Perseverance are still the keys words to success in old car
rallies. VCRA will endeavor to present a challenging course with safety of the
participants and the general population as its highest priority, and provide a venue
that will purvey respect and dignity to entrants, entrant’s vehicles, sponsors,
associates and spectators.
.The VCRA was formed by three veteran ‘RALLY GUYS” with a combined
experience of some 45 years in old car rallying. Our goal is to preserve the vintage
aspect of the rally events. Our belief is that people with the old cars still want to
bring them out, compete in a forum such as a rally, and the public still will come out
to see a “REAL OLD CAR” in a RACE environment.
